The case shell is made from a lightweight but heavy-duty plastic sandwich material. This makes the case very light, yet robust. The shell's edges are welded and reinforced with aluminum edges. Inside there is a foam cushion into which the guitar shape is cnc cut.

 

 
   
Both lower corners of the case have robust corner wheels.
     
    The two locks are countersunk in a deep tray which protects the locks on baggage carousels. The locks and the corners are chrome plated.
     
    The belt handles snap back when they are not needed, for instance on baggage carousels.
